OCT Clinical supports Oncology Research Workshop for Young Scientists along with ASCO and RUSSCO

The three-day “Clinical Trial Workshop for Young Investigators” by the Cancer Research Support Foundation (RakFond) was held on February 2-4, 2022, in Moscow. The meeting was supported by organizations such as ASCO, RUSSCO, Presidential Grants Fund, OCT Clinical, Data MATRIX and M&S Decisions.

This project provides a unique opportunity for participants to prepare research protocols under the mentorship of leading industry experts and then implement their projects with the financial support of RakFond. The lectures were given by both Russian and foreign experts from the N. N. Blokhin Oncology Center, Hadassah Oncology Institute, the Center of Pediatric Oncology and Hematology of Armenia, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (USA), Harvard Medical School (USA), and Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center (USA). Irina Bondareva, PhD, Principal Biostatistician at OCT Clinical, has been participating in the event for several years now as a statistical mentor.

“We are happy to support the school of young oncologists run by RakFond. Watching such talented scientists in action is truly amazing.  Obviously, this is the future of new cancer-fighting discoveries.” Dmitry Sharov, CEO of OCT Clinical.
